aLBUM COVER REDESIGN

Package Design

The prompt was to redesign an existing album cover, I selected Hopeless Fountain Kingdom by Halsey. As noted by the artist herself, the album is a conceptual retelling of the story of Romeo & Juliet, so I selected two opposing colors: red and gold to represent the tension between these forces. I also wanted to represent the toxicity of their relationship with a traditional symbol of love (a rose), as well as the artist’s own by featuring herself on the cover.
